A Jersey harbour tug, "The duke of Normandy" stimulated the design of The Sea Spray. The main difference is the shape of the hull but there are also others on the superstructure.

As with our other boats, the hull is made out of glass fibre and the decks and superstructure of 3mm-ply wood, which provides a strong surface for gluing and gives a good finish after painting.

Parts in the kit are as follows: HULL, DECKS, CABIN AND BRIDGE AREA, RUDDER, PROP SHAFT, PROP, KORT SYSTEM, LIGHT FITTINGS, BRASS RAILS, ROPE, CHAIN AND THERE SMALL FITTINGS.
